Greece holidays launched by easyCruise
Travellers looking to go on holiday in Greece now have a new option, with the launch of new Greek cruise itineraries by easyCruise.
Although it is the first time that the company has sailed in the Aegean, it says that the routes have proved to be its most popular yet.
The cruises take in Athens, as well as a range of Greek islands including Mykonos, Paros and Ios, as well as the relatively undiscovered Milos, Amorgos, Naxos, Folegandros, Sifnos and Serifos.
Passengers can choose between anything from a weekend break to a two-week trip with seven-day itineraries including the Classical Greece cruise for those interested in history and the Alternative Aegean cruise for those looking to go off the beaten track on their holiday in Greece.
Stelios Hahi-Ioannou, founder of easyCruise, said that the firm had been "overwhelmed" by interest in its itineraries.
He commented: "It has always been my plan to offer a Greek itinerary for easyCruise customers as I know personally how fantastic Athens and the surrounding islands are, both for their cultural background but also for their diversity."
Greece is a popular holiday destination among Britons, attracting around three million people each year, according to Foreign Office figures.
